The making of tomato 'salsa'!

It was a long time that I was planning a blog in which to share my curiosity, the traditions of my sites, and above all the steps that I walk with my white Fiat 500 of 1969. The blog name comes from 'Cinquino' as it is called the 500 in common parlance, so telling my findings transporting them on a virtual diary!

At this time in my part as usual, is the period of 'salsa'! Well, this is the tomato paste, typically Italian and perhaps the custom is still all of southern Italy. For us young is not always nice to spend the day at home with family and be at the service of the parents, but then the lasagna of the feast there will never waiver for which the effort of a day gives a great personal satisfaction and also for the palate!

Here are the shots in the sequence of the preparation of the'salsa'...

1. First you need to choose the good tomatoes and then wash them

2. Then you cook

3. Antonello and the strange forms of  a tomato

4. Pass in the tomato machine

5. After turning and turning the 'manovella' you get the 'salsa'

6.Then is bottled pulp

7. After the cooking of the bottle, the 'italian salsa' is ready to eat with spaghetti!
